For 4 people
1/ Put milk, sugar, vanilla essence, and salt in a pot and bring to a boil.
2/ Add the rice and once it boils, lower the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3/ While the rice is simmering, cut the fruit for topping.
4/ When it reaches the desired consistency, turn off the heat, place the rice in a bowl, top with toppings, and serve.

Please put your favorite fruits such as apples, blueberries, bananas, and kiwis on top. This recipe uses cherry sauce and cinnamon sugar.

If you prefer a slightly sweet taste without any toppings, it is delicious as is. You can also make it and eat it when you have a cold.

Rice for Milch rice is sold in Germany. Milhi rice has slightly smaller grains than Japanese rice, but it is similar to Japanese rice in that it has a stickiness, so you can also make it delicious with Japanese rice. I sometimes use Milch rice as a substitute for Japanese rice.
