A refreshing combination salad of refreshing beets and sweet and sour apples. Served with maple syrup and olive oil dressing. It is also delicious to add nuts such as walnuts for an even more accent.

    Canned boiled beets
  • 1
    Apple
  • 1
    Tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1
    A moderate amount of walnuts or almonds (if available)
  • 1
    Tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1
    Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1
    Salt Appropriate amount
  • 1
    Pepper Appropriate amount
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:

For 4 people

  • Canned boiled beets 400g
  • 1 apple
  • Lemon juice 1 tablespoon
  • A moderate amount of walnuts or almonds (if available)
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt Appropriate amount
  • Pepper Appropriate amount
How to make it:

1/ Cut the apple into 1cm cubes, put them in a bowl, add lemon juice and mix.

2/ Cut the beets into 1cm cubes and add to the apple bowl and mix.

3/ Chop the walnuts.
4/ Add chopped walnuts, maple syrup, olive oil, salt, and pepper to the bowl of apples and beets, mix well, and serve.

โ˜…You can also enjoy it as a side dish with sautรฉed meat or fish, or as a light lunch salad with bread.

โ˜…Instead of maple syrup, you can use honey if you like.
โ˜…As shown in the photo, you can add chopped parsley or chives if you like.
