For 2 people
1/ Wash the basil leaves and remove moisture with a dish towel or kitchen paper.
2/ Grate Parmigiano cheese (skip if using already grated cheese)
3/ Put the basil leaves, pine nuts, garlic, and olive oil in a food processor and make a smooth paste.
4/ Add grated cheese to make it even smoother.
5/ Taste and adjust the taste with salt.
โ
When using for pasta, you can make it while the pasta is boiling.
โ
If you add too much garlic, it will become spicy, so please adjust according to your preference.
โ
If you can’t get basil leaves, you can make a delicious sauce by substituting arugula or carrot leaves.
โ
When I get to know the taste of fresh sauce, I can’t stop eating it, and whenever I want pasta with basil sauce, I make it.
