Halloumi cheese is a cheese that originated in Cyprus and is used in Greek, Turkish, and Middle Eastern cuisine. A mysterious cheese that doesn’t melt even when baked. It also has a salty taste, making it perfect as an accent item for salads. Try it with the slightly sweet yogurt sauce.

  • Grapes (seedless) appropriate amount

    *Tablespoons plain yogurt (Greek type is recommended)

    Tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 1
    *Tablespoon maple syrup or honey
  • 2
    *Teaspoons of apple cider vinegar or vinegar

For 4 people

  • Halloumi cheese 250g
  • 1 apple
  • Lemon juice 1 tablespoon
  • Mixed salad, appropriate amount
  • Grapes (seedless) appropriate amount
  • Cucumber 1/2~1
  • *3 tablespoons plain yogurt (Greek type is recommended)
  • ※Mayonnaise 3 tablespoons
  • *1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
  • *2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar or vinegar
  • *1 tablespoon olive oil
  • *Salt Appropriate amount
  • ※Pepper Appropriate amount
How to make it:

1/ Wash the mixed salad and drain the water.

2/ Wash the grapes and cut the apples and cucumbers into easy-to-eat pieces.

3/ Cut the halloumi cheese into cubes, heat a frying pan, and fry the halloumi cheese over medium heat. (No oil required)

4/ Add the seasonings marked * in a bowl and mix to make the sauce.

5/ Add mixed salad, apples, cucumbers, and grapes to a salad bowl, mix, and top with halloumi cheese. Arrange the salad on a plate, top with the sauce and enjoy

★We recommend using a slightly sweet yogurt for the sauce.
★This recipe uses fruits (apples and grapes), but you can also use other seasonal fruits and vegetables.
★ Serve with bread or soup for lunch or a light dinner.
★Halloumi cheese is a popular cheese that is often found in France and Germany.
