Ingredients

Cooking time: Approximately 15-20 minutes (excluding preparation time for tenderizing meat)
Ingredients:

For 4 people

  • 4 slices of Pork Cutlet
  • 150g of Gorgonzola Cheese
  • Butter or Olive Oil (as needed)
  • 100ml of White Wine
  • An appropriate amount of Flour
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
How to make it:

1/ Optional Pre-Soaking for Tenderness: If you have time, place the pork in a container or a plastic bag with 1 teaspoon each of salt and sugar, and 4 tablespoons of water. Let it soak for at least 2 hours. This step helps tenderize the meat. For best results, you can do this the day before and refrigerate overnight.

2/ Pat Dry and Lightly Season: Remove the pork and pat it dry with kitchen paper or a clean towel. Season lightly with salt and pepper.

3/ Coat with Flour: Lightly coat both sides of the pork with flour. Shake off any excess.

4/ Pan-Fry and Deglaze: Heat butter or olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the pork slices and fry on both sides until golden. Pour in the white wine to deglaze the pan.

🌟Tips to Make It Even Better!🌟

⭐️Try It with Other Meats Too!: This recipe isn’t just for pork—you can also make it with beef or chicken. The rich Gorgonzola sauce pairs beautifully with any of them, so feel free to experiment!

⭐️Butter Makes It Better: When searing the meat, butter is your best friend. It enhances the flavor of the cheese and adds a luxurious depth to the overall dish.

⭐️Endless Pairing Possibilities: Serve it your way! Whether it’s with French fries, creamy mashed potatoes, pasta, or even simple white rice, this dish goes perfectly with your favorite sides.

⭐️French Fries? Try This Too!: Looking for a great side dish idea? Check out our Currywurst  recipe – Currywurst – Grilled sausage and tomato curry sauce served with fries. It’s a German classic worth trying!

⭐️Our Go-To: A Glass of Chianti 🍷: In our home, Chianti is our go-to wine whenever we’re having Italian food—and it pairs wonderfully with this dish too. Its gentle acidity and earthy notes balance the creamy Gorgonzola sauce without overpowering the pork. If you’re a red wine lover like us, a glass of Chianti brings just the right touch of warmth and tradition to your plate😊.
