Ingredients

  • 400 g
    Pasta of your choice
  • 1
    Olive oil Appropriate amount
  • 50 g
    Black olives Appropriate amount
  • 125 g
    Cherry tomatoes Appropriate amount
  • 350 g
    Genovese sauce (basil sauce)
  • 1
    Appropriate amount of Parmesan cheese (or your favorite shredded cheese)
Cooking time: About 30 minutes *excluding time to cool the pasta in the refrigerator
Ingredients:

For 4 people

  • Pasta of your choice 350-400g
  • Olive oil Appropriate amount
  • Black olives Appropriate amount (about 50g)
  • Cherry tomatoes Appropriate amount (about 125g)
  • Genovese sauce (basil sauce) 300-350g *Check out the recipe for Genovese sauce.
  • Appropriate amount of Parmesan cheese (or your favorite shredded cheese)

 

How to make it:

1/ Fill a pot with plenty of water and bring to a boil.

2/ When the water boils, add an appropriate amount of salt (not listed) and add the pasta.

3/ Once the pasta is boiled, transfer it to a colander to drain the water, then transfer it to a bowl, add an appropriate amount of olive oil and mix.

4/ Let it cool at room temperature for a while and then put it in the refrigerator.

5/ While the pasta is cooling make the Genovese sauce (basil sauce)basil sauce in food processor
6/ Cut the olives and tomatoes into bite-sized pieces.

7/ Just before serving, add the Genovese sauce to the chilled pasta in the refrigerator and mix. Add a little more olive oil to stretch the sauce if needed.

8/ Add olives and tomatoes, mix and serve. Serve in a bowl or directly on a plate and enjoy.

โ˜…To finish, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese (or your favorite shredded cheese). It brings out even more depth of deliciousness! You can also add pine nuts or chopped walnuts.
โ˜…This recipe uses pasta from Fujilli.
โ˜…Green olives are also OK. Feel free to arrange the ingredients to your liking.
โ˜…If you want to avoid the hassle of making sauce, try using a commercially available sauce.
