Ingredients

Cooking time: Approximately 15 minutes
Ingredients:

For 4 people

  • 2 pieces of Grapefruit
  • 1 Avocado
  • 100g of Shrimp (for salad)
  • 1 tablespoon of Lemon juice
  • 2–3 tablespoons of Mayonnaise
  • A little of Salt
  • A little of Pepper
  • An appropriate amount of Parsley (if available)
How to make it:

1/ Prepare the Grapefruit: Cut the grapefruit in half.

2/ Scoop Out the Fruit: Using a knife, make a cut along the inside of the peel, then scoop out the fruit with a teaspoon. Place the fruit in a colander set over a bowl to catch the juice. Since the grapefruit peel will be used as a serving dish, carefully remove any remaining white pith from the inside. The juice collected in the bowl can be enjoyed as fresh juice.🍹

3/ Prepare the Avocado: Cut the avocado into bite-sized pieces, place them in a bowl, and sprinkle with lemon juice to prevent browning.

4/ Mix the Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the grapefruit, avocado, shrimp, and mayonnaise.
5/ Season and Assemble: Season the salad with salt and pepper, then spoon it into the grapefruit peel serving bowls.
6/ Garnish and Serve: Finely chop the parsley and sprinkle it over the salad for a fresh finishing touch.
